Scene preset — Liquids

Presets change source geometry, emission, creative parameters and colors — not the solver.

Render & Video · Quality / Grid Quality · simulation grid and raster Render mode

Both modes share a 2D projected solver. Synthetic depth uses seven integrated slices, not 3D CFD. Quality changes reseed the scene.

Blob System v1 · Artistic morphology

Optional dye-field shaping, not real immiscible-fluid physics. Ink is Off by default; Oil and Dense Liquids On. Switching resets the field; presets remember choices in this session.

Blob System

Oil in Water · Two-Phase B.0 · Experimental

Independent GPU phase occupancy φ: 0 = water carrier, 1 = oil. Approximate flux advection, locally mixed properties and interfacial force. This is not validated CFD or actual 3D oil/water optics. Enabling resets the scene.

Relative, uncalibrated artistic controls. Surface tension is an approximate cohesive interface force, not multiphase CFD or a value in N/m.

Pigment Micro-Sources · Flecks and Parcels Unified phase-owned parcels

Unified extras inject directly into owned material RGBA; Legacy retains its historical RGB parcels.

Pigment flecks and detached color parcels are injected directly into the GPU dye field and advected with the flow. No Canvas 2D overlay; these are not physically resolved droplets or bubbles.

Lighting v2 · Liquids · R&D

Glossy liquid response uses dye-derived normals and approximate transmission.

About this experiment

GPU color-flow research build: dye transport, pressure projection, vortex forces and layered light. Drag the canvas to sculpt evolving plumes. Export native-resolution stills as PNG, JPEG or WebP through Output / Export.

R&D · Thirteen artistic factory presets share one projected 2D solver. Dense liquid phases, smoke, fog and flames are creative approximations, not physically resolved multiphase or combustion simulations.

Checking graphics backend…

Motion state follows completed GPU frames; STALLED signals no frame progress. Autoplay unless your device requests reduced motion. The sticky Start motion control explicitly overrides that preference for this session. Pause anytime.

Experimental projected 2D solver — not validated CFD. The GPU applies dye advection, pressure projection, explicit viscosity-style velocity diffusion, relative-density forces, and artistic cohesion; pigment parcels are part of the GPU-advected dye field, with no separate bubble overlay. No validated surface tension, true 3D fluid dynamics, real gas-liquid phase solver, measured material property or combustion chemistry is claimed. Blob morphology uses GPU dye-field filtering and approximate interface forces, not verified droplet collisions or immiscible CFD. Native-resolution artistic STILL export samples the existing GPU state without implying improved solver fidelity. Versioned preset recovery and solver validation remain independent gates.
