Challenge / Contribute

This route is for an existing Investigation. Add evidence we missed, challenge a source or interpretation, flag a factual problem, raise a methodological objection or provide missing context.

Existing Investigation pipeline

Choose the Investigation. State the contribution.

Every contribution is attached to one existing Investigation and enters the same editorial review pipeline: triage, verification, editorial decision, impact assessment and—when useful for transparency—publication of the reviewed outcome in the Evidence Room.

A contribution does not become Evidence automatically. Sources and arguments are checked against the underlying material before any canonical Evidence, Source, wording, correction or Evidence Status is changed.

If you want us to investigate a proposition that is not already covered by an existing Claim, use Propose a Claim instead.

Send a challenge or contribution to an existing Investigation directly to the editorial review queue. We use the information only to review the submission and, when needed, reply. Do not send passwords, medical records or other sensitive personal information.

What happens next

From contribution to reviewed outcome

01

Submit

You choose the exact Investigation and submit evidence, a challenge, correction or methodological objection.

02

Triage

We check relevance, duplicates, target fit and whether the material can actually bear on the Claim.

03

Verify

The underlying Source is inspected and compared with the current Evidence record and article wording.

04

Decide

The contribution is accepted, partly accepted, declined, marked duplicate or ruled out of scope.

05

Canonical impact

If warranted, Sources, Evidence, wording, corrections or Evidence Status are updated.

06

Visibility

If useful for transparency, the reviewed outcome is published in the Evidence Room; otherwise it remains private.

A contribution does not become Evidence automatically. Publication in the Evidence Room is a transparency decision, separate from whether the contribution was accepted.
