Corrigendum to The effects of radiofrequency electromagnetic fields exposure on human self-reported symptoms: a systematic review of human experimental studies
This page documents how this source is reused across Claim by Claim. A source can support, challenge, qualify or contextualize different claims; appearing here does not imply endorsement of every linked proposition.
Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.
A correction removed a duplicate experiment from a major symptom review and adjusted some calculations; the authors' broad conclusion remained unchanged.
Challenges
A review of blinded tests found no consistent short-term symptom response to actual radiofrequency exposure under the conditions studied.
The 2024 review corrigendum removed a duplicated trial report and corrected counts to 40 studies/2,857 participants. It also corrected several estimates, including head-exposure sleeping disturbances to SMD −0.01 (95% CI −0.22 to 0.20), without materially altering the authors' conclusions.
