Evidence context

How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Do acupuncture meridians exist as a distinct physical network?

Qualifies

Jung and colleagues' 2013 animal protocol reported stained thread-like primo structures floating inside rat lymphatic vessels, with a reproducible surgical/staining method. The anatomical report is more substantive than an untested analogy, but does not trace these structures along a preregistered human meridian map.
