How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Is high-dose intravenous vitamin C a proven stand-alone cancer cure?

Qualifies

The phase II pancreatic study randomized 36 people (34 treated); ascorbate plus chemotherapy showed median OS 16.0 vs 8.3 months, HR 0.46 with a 90% (not 95%) CI 0.23–0.92. The trial is small and adjunctive, not evidence of vitamin C alone curing cancer.
