This page documents how this source is reused across Claim by Claim. A source can support, challenge, qualify or contextualize different claims; appearing here does not imply endorsement of every linked proposition.

Evidence context

How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Did COVID-19 vaccination cause a substantial share of post-2021 excess deaths?

Challenges

A modified self-controlled case-series analysis across eight U.S. Vaccine Safety Datalink sites found no increased all-cause, non-COVID-19 or cardiac-related mortality after primary-series COVID-19 vaccination.

Within-person design reduces between-person confounding; healthy-vaccinee timing and event-dependent exposure remain important design considerations.
