Use of Antiperspirant Products and Risk of Breast Cancer: A Meta-Analysis of Case-Control Studies
This page documents how this source is reused across Claim by Claim. A source can support, challenge, qualify or contextualize different claims; appearing here does not imply endorsement of every linked proposition.
Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.
A 2024 meta-analysis of seven case-control studies on underarm antiperspirants or deodorants found pooled OR 0.96 (95% CI 0.78–1.17; I² 60%). The combined exposure was not aluminum-specific, and the heterogeneity and observational design limit causal inference.
Original publisher abstract verified; full study list and subgroup weights not independently accessible; do not treat the seven component studies as newly independent from the separately cited originals.
