How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Is high-dose intravenous vitamin C a proven stand-alone cancer cure?

Challenges

The phase II prostate trial randomized 50 and treated 47; PSA50 occurred in 13/32 (41%) with ascorbate plus docetaxel versus 5/15 (33%) with placebo plus docetaxel (p=0.44), without clear progression-free or overall survival benefit. The Results/participant-flow denominator differs from abbreviated abstract wording.
