Influence of reflex zone therapy of the feet on intestinal blood flow measured by color Doppler sonography

This page documents how this source is reused across Claim by Claim. A source can support, challenge, qualify or contextualize different claims; appearing here does not imply endorsement of every linked proposition.

Evidence context

How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Can foot reflexology treat organs through mapped reflex zones?

Supports

A 2001 randomized experiment in 32 healthy adults compared intestinal foot-zone pressure against pressure elsewhere on the foot; an acute superior mesenteric artery resistive-index reduction was reported in the active arm (p=0.021). This is a transient physiological proxy, not treatment of intestinal disease.

Original German-language study publisher abstract inspected, not complete numerical Doppler tables; same research milieu as renal paper, independent participants not established.
