Studying electromagnetic radiation shielding and absorbing properties of shungite-containing substances

This page documents how this source is reused across Claim by Claim. A source can support, challenge, qualify or contextualize different claims; appearing here does not imply endorsement of every linked proposition.

Evidence context

How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Does shungite placed near electronics block or neutralize harmful electromagnetic-field (EMF) exposure?

Contextualizes

The best-performing studied 50%-shungite sample reached a reported minimum transmission-power coefficient T=0.13 within a test waveguide; that value is neither a universal percent reduction across all frequencies nor a measured reduction of exposure to a person next to a standalone mineral stone.

Qualifies

The original 2025 Samukhina/Buryak study tested paraffin-and-shungite composite ring samples, 10 mm thick with 0%, 10%, 30% or 50% filler, using NanoVNA V2 S-parameters from 500 MHz to 4 GHz; higher fractions reduced waveguide transmission and changed reflection and absorption. These are physical materials results, not medical outcomes or loose-stone personal dosimetry.
