Effect of Apple Cider Vinegar Intake on Body Composition and Anthropometric Parameters in Adults: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials

This page documents how this source is reused across Claim by Claim. A source can support, challenge, qualify or contextualize different claims; appearing here does not imply endorsement of every linked proposition.

Evidence context

How this source is used

Evidence roles describe what this source helps establish inside each Investigation. They are local to that use, not permanent labels attached to the publication itself.

Investigation

Does apple cider vinegar cause meaningful weight or body-fat loss?

Qualifies

A meta-analysis cited the wrong publication for one described randomized ACV study. Its actual statistical inputs cannot be established from that citation alone.

Challenges

A study included in an ACV review actually used a grape-vinegar-and-sugar mixture. It does not directly test apple cider vinegar.

Supports

An ACV review reported favorable pooled weight results, but included a high-effect trial that was later retracted.
