Investigation
Do acupuncture meridian maps follow fascia, nerves or other known anatomical structures?
In 23 human participants using randomized-order four-needle impedance measurements, a Pericardium segment had lower impedance than a parallel control (70.4 vs 75.0 ohms; p=0.0003) but a Spleen segment did not (67.8 vs 68.5 ohms; p=0.70). Control tissue composition was a key confound.
